Description
The story of John Merrick, the Elephant Man, and of his triumph over his terrible affliction is a story of life and the affirmation of life; timeless, tragic, uplifting, and heroic; an exultation of the humanity of a man trapped inside the twisted, lesion-ridden grip of a terminally disfiguring disease.
