Description
Portrays the challenges that face the oil industries and the consumers of the infinite products of oil. "The pipeline" follows the route of a pipeline linking the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean Sea and thus the global market. "The oil curse" contrasts the cases of Ecuador and western Africa, and looks at how the discovery of oil has affected the local population. "The wilderness" explores the tension between the world's desire for oil and existing and proposed environmental restraints.
