Description
The Henry W. Pilch Collection documents the history of land usage in Northern New Jersey along with many of the families who lived and worked there. Pilch enjoyed a long career as an attorney, and these records represent the product of years conducting research on real estate transactions. He also spent decades working as a local historian and genealogist, and was active in many societies dedicated to the preservation and use of historical records. Materials are arranged into six series: Historical Notes, Genealogy Notes, Morris County Genealogies, Legal Decisions, Land Records, and Minton and Day Records of Morris County.
